About Sugamo

Thank you so much for visiting our website of Sugamo Advance School!

Sugamo has been established in 2008, and we have been teaching many Japanese and Japanese American students. Also, there are many non-Japanese students studying Japanese.

If you or your children are interested in learning Japanese, let us support you learning Japanese.

Courses: Japanese conversation and reading/grammar

Students: Adults or children

Target Goal: Introductory Conversational Japanese to fluent Japanese (You can set your own goal with your teacher.)

Example:

With 2 times a week lessons, you would be able to learn all Hiragana and Katakana, and conversational Japanese within 6 months. You would be able to pass the N5 test.

With 2 times a week lessons for a year, you would be able to learn Kanji and pass N4 tests.

Days: Weekdays from 2:30pm to 3:20pm, 3:30pm to 4:20pm, or 7:30pm to 8:20

Lesson time: 50 min/class

We provide 3.6 lessons per month, meaning depending on month, the number of lessons fluctuates. From 5 times to 3 times a month. The tuition should also fluctuate depending on the number of lessons, but this is a complicated process for everyone, so to make it simple, we ask for the average tuition fee of 3.6 lessons every month.

Tuition and Fees

Textbook fee: $70 per year

Entrance Fee: $100 only one time fee

Tuition : Every term (3month per term)

For example: Sep – Dec, Jan- Mar, April – June
