すがもでは2022年から発達障がいの勉強会を実施しています。

教育事業をしていく中で、発達障がいの傾向がありつつも

正式な診断がされないために、合理的な配慮を受けられていないという

事実を目の当たりにしてきたからです。

2024年3月にはポートランド・シアトルでの講演会を実施し、

お陰様で多くの方にご参加いただきました。

2025年にも日本からゲストスピーカーを招きアメリカで

無料の講演会をするためにクラウドファンディングをすることを決めました。

私たちの活動は社会的に大切な活動だと自負していますが、

まだ公的なサポートが得られていないため、安定的に講演会を

するために多くの方のご協力が必要です！

We are thrilled to let you know that we launched a crowdfunding campaign.

We have run tutoring schools in the U.S. and Japan since 2008 and encountered many students with developmental disorders. Some of them are left behind even though they have symptoms of developmental disorders and are struggling.

To raise awareness for people in need, we launched seminars about developmental disorders in 2022 and over 1,000 people have participated in our seminars so far. In addition, we have had the pleasure of the Mayor of Sagamihara city, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan (Mr. Kentaro Motomura) participating in August 2023, and this March, we hosted seminars about this topic overseas in Seattle and Portland, with participation from local Japanese students and parents as well.

We hope to host seminars about developmental disorders in the U.S. again in March 2025. Although these seminars were self-fueled in the past, with our seminars expanding more now than ever, we are asking for generosity and support from local Seattle and Portland companies. This is why we launched this crowdfunding campaign.

The donation received will be carefully used to cover the costs of location fees and other expenses necessary to raise awareness of developmental disorders. We will gladly accept any generous donations starting from $30.
